 The Silicon Valley legend, who underwent a liver transplant following cancer, said he could no longer meet his chief executive's duties. The 55-year-old become chairman of the firm. Timothy D. Cook ran Apple temporarily in 2004 and 2009 when Jobs took a medical leave of absence and again in January when Steve went on an indefinite leave
