Feb.13   Santa Rosa   Cartoonist Charles Schulz died
  Cartoonist who created the Peanuts strip died in his sleep apparently from complications of colon cancer
 350 million people who read his strips. His death was announced the very day that Schulz' final Peanuts strip appeared in newspapers. He was diagnosed with colon cancer and suffered small strokes during emergency surgery
