 Stanley Tookie Williams spent more than 2 decades on death row for the 1979 robbery murders of four people in Los Angeles. Williams appeared to grow impatient as prison staffers searched for several minutes for a vein in his arm. His death was announced 34 min. later. Williams, 51, maintained he was innocent of the slayings.
