  Roxana Saberi, 31, an Iranian-American journalist has been jailed for eight years by Iran after a brief trial held behind closed doors
 The journalist originally faced accusation of buying alcohol and of working as a journalist without a valid press card. Then the charge of spying was introduced, and she was tried by the Revolutionary Court. No evidence of espionage was made public. Roxana denies the charge and plans to go on hunger strike. Obama was 'deeply disappointed' at the outcome.
