  Kabul     President flees ceremony attack
  Hamid Karzai and other quickly scrambled toward safety when the sound of gunfire and explosions interrupted a military ceremony
 Security forces whisked Karzai away from the scene and hundreds of people fled as shots rang out. He and other dignitaries were safe.
